The elevated seating position and premium ambiance contribute to a unique driving experience inside the compact SAV. Key elements of the new cockpit include the tiny instrument cluster, BMW Curved Display, “floating” armrest with integrated control panel and smartphone tray with indirect lighting at the front of the center console.

The first full electric BMW iX1 with xDrive all-wheel drive presents itself with a strong character and opens up new paths in everyday life thanks to great functionality and versatility.The fifth generation BMW eDrive technology also includes highly efficient charging technology, including improved charging software and a high-voltage battery, whose high energy density provides the car with a range of up to 440 kilometers and a charge up to 80% in 29 minutes at public high-speed charging stations. It has reduced consumption, just 19.0-16.8 kWh/km thanks to technologies such as Regenerative Braking and maximum efficiency thanks to lightweight construction methods and aerodynamic design.

Power, performance, energy consumption, and range figures for the BMW iX1 xDrive30 are predicted values based on the current stage of development of the car.
The official results about fuel economy, CO2 specific emissions, power consumption and electrical autonomy have been calculated according to the mandatory test procedure and are in accordance with Regulation (EC) No 715/2007 in its applicable version at the time of the type approval. In case of autonomy, the data in the WLTP will take any optional equipment into account. For new vehicle types approved from 1st January 2021, the official results are no more measured in accordance with the so-called NEDC test procedure, but solely with the WLTP procedure.
